About Us

We the sisters of the Beta Beta Chapter of Corazones Unidos Siempre, Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Inc. were founded to educate, elevate, and empower all women. We were founded on UNC Greensboro's campus in the fall of 2008 by Claudia Romero and with the help of Caitlin Michel, who wanted to spread wisdom through education throughout the community.

 

Our organization also helped to establish the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) on UNCG's campus. Our founders believed this was important in order to create a safe and welcoming space for other multicultural organizations.

 

Chi Upsilon Sigma is more than a business. It is a home away from home for sisters. As the first independent Latin sorority and the first Latin sorority to step and stroll, we pride ourselves on uplifting our members into becoming strong, independent women who seek to better their communities through service and dedication.
